Keynote presentation – Annual Meeting February 2015
We had a wonderful speaker featured at our recent Annual Meeting. Joel Magnes, C.S. and Committee on Publication for Minnesota, captured the audience’s attention with his talk about loving one another and how to address personal sense. We are happy to share this presentation with you.
Silencing What Would Keep Us From Loving One Another
Mary Baker Eddy writes on page 572 of Science and Health , “ ‘Love one another’ (I John iii. 23) is the most simple and profound counsel of the inspired writer.” Why is that so?
Well, we can’t obey the two great commandments – to love God with all our being and to love our neighbor as ourselves – without loving those in our own house. That house may be our actual home or our house of worship. To express, as Christian scientists, our love for God and man with healing power, we must first be real Christians with each other. It begins in in our church families and our homes, and radiates out to wherever we have contact with the world.
Meet some of The Willows’ residents and enjoy a glimpse into our Community.
